Member of Technical Staff | London | AI / SaaS | £120-150K + Equity

I’m partnering with a genuinely impressive AI business that is building an industry leading AI product that is revolutionising the industry they serve.

The business is modernising an industry that still relies heavily on Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and email, using AI to improve complex workflows across scheduling, technical review, inspections and document management.

Following the recent news of an upcoming Series A, they’re now growing the engineering team and looking five new engineers to join their growing tech team.

With this role, you will have genuine ownership across the product, working closely with the founders and taking features from idea through to production.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features across frontend, backend and data
• Own features end-to-end from initial concept through to production
• Work directly with customers to understand their workflows and requirements
• Translate complex processes into simple, intuitive product experiences
• Work across the stack rather than operating within a narrow technical area
• Make product and engineering decisions independently
• Move quickly while maintaining a high engineering standard
• Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution

Skills & Experience

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building and shipping products used by real customers
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend
• Strong product mindset and genuine interest in building great user experiences
• Ability to understand complex workflows and simplify them
• High level of ownership and autonomy
• Fast-paced, pragmatic approach to engineering
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, C++ or similar technologies
• Startup or early-stage experience is advantageous but not essential
• Founder, founding engineer, early-stage startup or meaningful open-source experience would be beneficial
