We’re hiring a Founding Product Manager to work directly alongside the founders and help shape how the company understands, frames, and solves customer problems.
Product currently sits closely with the founding team, so this person will have significant influence over product direction, roadmap priorities, and how ideas are translated into clear, well-scoped work for engineering.
This isn’t a traditional PM role focused on ticket management. Engineers own outcomes, and the Product Manager is expected to strengthen that ownership by providing strong customer insight, clear problem framing, prioritization, and evidence-backed decision-making.
What you’ll do
- Own the roadmap across a major product stream.
- Take ambiguous customer problems and turn them into well-defined opportunities with clear trade-offs, success metrics, and outcomes.
- Translate company strategy into clear problems engineering teams can independently own.
- Work closely with teams across San Francisco and Dublin to maintain alignment around priorities and outcomes.
- Spend significant time with customers through interviews, product research, and customer calls.
- Analyze both quantitative product data and qualitative customer feedback to identify opportunities and friction.
- Define the metrics that matter and use them to influence product decisions.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, GTM, and the founders.
- Coach engineers on product thinking and help raise the overall product bar across the organization.
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of product experience, ideally within a Series A–C startup or strong B2B SaaS environment.
- Experience shipping complex, customer-facing products.
- Strong customer discovery and user research skills.
- Comfortable combining customer conversations with product analytics and usage data.
- Experience defining metrics and using data to make product decisions.
- Senior-level product leadership, ideally at Staff, Principal, Lead, or equivalent level.
- Experience owning meaningful product areas from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Comfortable influencing highly autonomous engineering teams rather than managing through process.
- Strong experience operating in ambiguity and moving quickly.
- Familiarity with AI products, generative AI, or technically complex software products is highly valuable.
- Startup experience and exposure to modern product development methodologies are strong pluses.
Location
This is a full-time, Onsite five-days-a-week onsite role in San Francisco. The team works closely together in person, with additional collaboration across its Dublin office.
Ideal background
The strongest candidates will likely come from high-growth B2B SaaS, AI, customer experience, developer-facing, workflow, productivity, or technically complex product companies, particularly where PMs work closely with customers and highly autonomous engineering teams.
